Spring Water Camp in Senec 29.5. – 31.5.2026

We opened this year’s water season exactly as it should be – with an intensive club water‑work training at Slnečné jazerá. The three‑day program brought together 24 teams from Slovakia, Czech Republic, Austria, Hungary and Poland. In addition to Landseers, we welcomed breeds such as the Newfoundland, Golden Retriever, Setter and Portuguese Water Dog.

The training ran in two parallel groups – beginners and advanced – allowing us to fully focus on the individual needs of each team. For young dogs, the goal was clear: spark joy in water work, introduce them to various materials and situations and build their confidence and motivation. More experienced dogs reviewed familiar exercises and then expanded their skills with new tasks designed to encourage independent thinking and proper decision‑making.

We also included fun tasks and well‑earned rewards, which are just as important for the dogs as the training itself. Teamwork and trust between handler and dog are the foundation of success – and throughout the entire weekend, it was clear that these values truly thrive in our community.

We are delighted to see the growing interest in this event every year. It is not only about training – it is about spending time together among friends, supporting one another, sharing advice and experience and enjoying evening conversations over good food and a beer.

A big thank you goes to Robert, our member who once again prepared gifts for our four‑legged partners, as well as to everyone who contributed to making this weekend unforgettable.
